King of Germany – Mühlhausen

The King of Germany Contest will take place at Thuringia Funpark from 16-18 August 2024. An international stunt scooter event with participants from all over the world. The special thing about this competition is that it includes a German championship. The German ranking list will then determine the riders who will go to the World Championships in Rome (Italy) in September. Also noteworthy; this is the first time that we, as organisers, have worked together with the organisation World Skate organisation, which is responsible for ensuring that scootering is recognised as an recognised as an Olympic sport, just like skateboarding once was. It is a great honour for us, the city, as well as for those responsible at Thuringia Funpark, to organise an event in Mühlhausen for this for this world association.

The field of participants is divided into a total of five categories:

– Pro Men (14+ years old)

– Pro Women (14+ years old)

– Street Men (14+ years old)

– Street Women (14+ years old)

– Juniors (10-17 years old)

There will be an open qualification on Friday, 16 August 2024 (from 10:00 am). Anyone can register and take part. In two runs (60 seconds each) everyone must then try to convince the jury of themselves and their tricks.

On Saturday, 17 August 2024 (from 10:00 am) is the semi-final day. From the main categories (Pro) 24 participants will progress and fight for a place in the final.

On Sunday, 18 August 2024 (from 10:00 a.m.) is the grand final of all categories. The best 10 participants from each category will compete against each other in the final and try to to become ‘King of Germany’.

 The support of Red Bull at our event is a special highlight. Last year too the brand supported us on site with a ‘rider area’ and plenty of Red Bull Energy cans. supported us. A great recognition for our participating athletes.
